Shiso Purple

Full Circle Shiso Purple is made using rejected purple shiso leaves from Koppert Cress. These are leftover from regular production because they’re just a bit too old or don’t meet Koppert’s high standards. In terms of flavor, however, they’re still perfect for creating a truly unique liqueur. We also use rejected Dutch plums and Zalotti blossom, the flower of Thai basil.

Shiso Purple is a spicy, aromatic liqueur with a unique flavor. The shiso provides a distinctive umami and nutty taste, reminiscent of almond. The liqueur is also floral and aromatic, similar to basil. The plum adds both sweetness and tartness, along with a light raisin-like note. It’s a liqueur like no other!

It’s also great for mixing into cocktails. Shiso Purple pairs well with almost anything, so let your creativity run wild. As a starting point: use Shiso Purple somewhat like vermouth. For example, make a bold Shiso Negroni, or go for a fresh and herbaceous Shiso Spritz. Let yourself be enchanted by the unique flavor and beautiful color of Shiso Purple!
