From Peel to Perfection

Everyday millions of oranges get squeezed to make delicious fresh orange juice. Afterwards the orange peels get thrown away. A big waste! The orange peels still hold delicious etherical oils.

Full Circle Orangecello is made from leftover biological orange peels. We turn this waste into our wonderful Orangecello.

We thinly peel the oranges to only extract the fresh orange flavour. Using multiple extraction methods we create a smooth and fresh liqueur with a deep, warm orange flavour

How It is made

01 The Bar

Orange juice is freshly squezed every single day to ensure the best taste.

02 The Juice

Each liter of juice requires 8-10 oranges. Only the juice is used but the peels are left over. In the Netherlands alone this results in over 250 million kilo's of orange peel waste.

03 Collection and peeling

We collect the biological orange peels and use a thinpeeler to extract the zest, the orange outer layer which holds the essential orange oils.

04 Distillery

We combine two techniques to extract the orange flavour. Part of the oranges are put in pure grain alcohol and macerated for 5 weeks to slowly extract the flavour and the colour of the orange. This gives a fresh orange flavour with a oily texture.

The other part of the oranges is distilled. This gives a deep and warm orange flavour. It also gives a natura sweetness and a smooth body to the liqueur.

05 Full Circle Orangecello

After adding water and a little sugar, Full Circle Orangecello is complete. A fresh and smooth orange liqueur.

Shaking things up

Orangecello is perfect on its own, ice-cold on a hot day. Oefff, nice!

But it is also really great in a delicious Spritz. Or a sour. Or a Dutch Mule. The options are endless!
