Everyday millions of coffees get consumed in the Netherlands alone. With all those coffees comes a lot of waste.
After the water runs through the coffee ones we throw it away. A big shame because rougly 80% of all the flavour is still there. Flavour we can extract and make a brilliant coffee liqueur.
At Full Circle, we believe in capturing freshness at its peak. That’s why we meticulously collect super fresh coffee grounds, ensuring that every ounce of flavor is preserved. With our innovative approach, we craft a cold brew unlike any other, using alcohol instead of water to extract the essence of the coffee without the need for heat. This gentle process unlocks the coffee’s full potential, revealing a sweet and nutty body with a delicate taste profile, devoid of excessive bitterness. The result? The perfect foundation for a liqueur that embodies the true essence of exceptional coffee.
To that we add a little vanilla, some cacao and a hint of orange. The result is a creamy coffee liqueur that is still fresh and delicate.
How It is made
01 The Bar
A fresh cup of espresso in the morning, who doesn't love it? In the Netherlands, every day roughly 33 million cups are consumed.
02 The cup
Each cup requires roughly 20 grams of coffee. The coffee is grown near the equator and travels far and wide to reach the cup.
03 Collecting coffee grounds
The coffee grounds that are left over after making espresso still contain most of the flavour of the coffee. A big shame to throw it away!
We collect the coffee grounds the same day the coffee is made in bars, to ensure freshness. We work togheter with a sustainable coffee brand called Moyee. We collect the same coffee everytime to ensure consistency in our product. And Moyee happens to make the best, most sustainable and ethical coffee. Perfect partnership.
04 Distillery
We make a cold extranction with the coffee grounds to get a smooth creamy taste from the coffee with minimal bitterness. This way we can keep the liqueur fresh and smooth.
We add some cacao and vanilla for that dessert like richness. A hint of leftover oranges gives a bright finish.
05 Full Circle Coffee liqueur
A rich and smooth coffee liqueur with a pure, yet delicate coffee flavour. Low in sugar, full of flavour and made with great care for our planet and its people.
